Korean Cultural Day in NFMK, JUNE27 [Salt and Papua New Guinea]

To mark 'Korean Cultural Day' on June, National Folk Museum of Korea(NFMK) will invite you to the event related to the special exhibition, homo salinus Sapiens designed to explore the universality and specificity of human culture through salt.  This event will try to introduce research stories of 'ashes salt' which is only produced on Papua New Guinea and to examine the cultural aspect of aslt used as both a special gift of the ceremony and limited goods from the perspective of an economic abnthropologist.  We cordially invite you to this event including the special lecture and the gallery talk in order to explore the meaning go 'ashes salt' in Papua NBew Guinea, as well as its culture.
