CECA is the International Committee for Education and Cultural Action of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) which aims to promote the development of museum education and cultural action and provide an international forum for information exchange and cooperation between professionals, museums and related institutions in order to develop the field of education and cultural action. Having as a main theme Education and Cultural Action in Museums, the meeting will explore theoretical and methodological approaches towards education and cultural action in museums.
