ELIGIBILITY
○ Open to applicants, professions(Folklore, Anthropology, Film studies…) and non-professions, with film production and editing skills from the inside and outside of Republic of Korea.
※ Individuals/Teams(A maximum of five entrants would be allowed)

CATEGORIES
○ General Documentary/Prototype materials and Film Archive (Two Sections)
- General documentary: A folklore film which contains precise representation of the subject with finished synopsis regarding folk culture with runtime of 3 minutes to 30 minutes or less.
- Prototype materials and Film Archive: An unedited archive film which contains scientific and material values with runtime of 60 minutes or less.

SUBJECTS (PICK ONE)
1. World Folk Culture
- Films introducing Korean or various foreign folk cultures.
- Sustaining life, Profession, Rituals, Folk Beliefs, Rites, Entertainment, Art.

2. Puppets around the world
- Films on Korean or foreign puppet culture.
- Types of puppets, puppets production, puppet workshops, puppet collectors, puppet hospitals, puppetry, puppetry festivals, puppetry stores, and puppet vendors

Format	Full HD(1920x1080), MP4	MP4(need to convert analogue to digital) No limitations on resolution
Duration	3 minutes to 30 minutes or less	In 60 minutes
No. of submission	One submission per a team(individual)	Constitute maximum number of 10 clips (In 60minutes) on the same subject matter
Subtitle	Foreign narratives must carry subtitles	×

HOW TO SUBMIT
○ Upload your film to the official webpage(webhard) of National Folk Museum of Korea (http://webhard.nfm.go.kr)
- ID: wfilm / PW: minbak3207
- Login with a given user ID and Password, create a new folder under the name of each individual or team names
※ Films submitted before the last date for receipt of submissions(18:00) are only valid.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
○ Submitted films shall never been submitted elsewhere.
○ The copyrights of selected entries (moral rights of the author and economic rights) belong to the Entrants.
○ National Folk Museum of Korea is entitled to have partial copyrights granted on selected films as well as free of charge use in the films in terms of non-profit purposes. Settlements can be negotiated with the owner.
○ Any additions, changes or alternations of copyright works will be subject to discuss with selected entrants.
○ Submitted films must NOT contain any legal issues such as portrait rights, copyrights, digital rights, intellectual property rights, property rights, rental rights. In case of violating any copyrights about the legal status of film submitted to National Folk Museum of Korea the Entrants shall cover ALL costs of legal actions resulting from the claims of copyright infringement from third parties.
※ The organizer, National Folk Museum of Korea does NOT take responsibilities for legal issues.
○ All submitted and selected films should not have any legal issues for open resources.
○ When other copyright works used, the entrant shall submit a letter of authority or a permission letter from the owner of the copyrights to grant permission.
○ In case any of the requirements mentioned above are not complied with or forged works are done by the entrants, the submission is liable to be rejected summarily even after received awards.
○ When a team of co-producers selected, the director shall accept on behalf of the team and National Folk Museum of Korea does not participate process of sharing the reward.
○ Rewards and numbers of awardee may change due to submitted films and the qualities, selected entrants shall burden the following taxes and the public utilities' charge.
